Let there be no doubt that Michael Jackson was truly loved!
It has been a year since the gloved one has passed away. I still remember where I was when I heard the news. My heart dropped into the pit of my stomach and it seemed like all the world cried with me that day. It really was like the earth stood still when it happened. You couldn't get on Google or Twitter, it was chaotic. No one wanted to believe it was true. It really didn't hit me until I watched his funeral weeks later. I locked the door to my office, turned on the TV and sat at my desk and watched the entire thing, sobbing all the way through but officially losing it when Paris cried out for her daddy. A legend had died.
But here we are a year from the day. Michael hasn't returned to us but he will live forever through his music and the legacy he left. Not a day goes by that I don't listen to some of his songs. His music fills me with pure joy but it now comes with a twinge of sadness. The loss is still felt, we miss you Michael :-(
